DESCRIPTION OF THE TALK:
News announcements regarding recent Artificial Intelligence innovations continue to send Financial Markets roiling with very little advanced notice. As new product offerings are brought to market, the shock of disruptive effects are often felt globally throughout the system. For example, the recent Deep Seek announcement had an immediate severe negative impact. It seems to have caught everyone by surprise and come out of the clear blue sky.
During these events, and in the wake of their impact, News Commentators and Subject Matter Experts rush to discuss the root causes, which ultimately rely on foundational concepts in Computer Science. Yet, very little time and attention is given to explaining how it all really works. By sharing a few insights into the inner workings of these principles, I seek to illuminate some fundamental aspects of Computer Science so that we can all be better informed consumers of news information.

Please join us for our next TSAA-SF monthly gathering of our membership. At these events we celebrate our Technical Analysis Heritage. Each month the members meet and consider the many aspects of T.A. or visual financial data analysis. The programs will profile the charting methods and techniques of our members and guest presenters.
