More details on speakers and topics:
Brett Villaume:
Topic: Choosing among the various sector and asset class investment options
Some say that outperforming the market in 2023 will depend on sector allocation. But which stocks and/or ETFs you choose to execute your sector calls could make a meaningful difference in terms of risk-adjusted returns. In his presentation, Brett will share some alternatives for buying (or shorting) sectors of the economy, like technology and healthcare, and asset classes, like bonds and commodities. It just might add several hundred basis points to your annual return.
Patrick Dunuwila:
Topic: The Chart Report, a free daily email/newsletter that aggregates some of the best TA research out there from the top technicians. It’s read by tens of thousands of investors around the world, including some of the most respected analysts.
Pankaj Agarwal:
Topic: How I made 110% Returns Using CAN SLIM in 13 Months in 2020-21. Pankaj's presentation ties technical trading to fundamentally strong stocks, and uses the 10, 21, 50 and 200 day/week Moving Averages, and 7 Base-types.
Mike Jones:
Topic: Present technical analysis visualization capabilities in the "R" computer programming language. Introduce and demonstrate aspects of Quantmod (TA & graphics) and then give a model for automatic trading (Wilder SAR with money management).
